I know you’ve probably seen the Twilight Turtle, which puts stars on the ceiling and transforms the room into a starry night for your little ones. When I first took it out of the box, my boys were kind of confused by it. But I handed it to Noah and let him explore. He’s into pushing buttons so he started to push all of them on the back. The waves scared him a little bit but Hayden let out a giggle as soon as he saw them. He knew what was coming. So we took the turtle down the the bathroom off the family room. That bathroom doesn’t have any lights so it would look awesome. We placed it in the middle of the floor and pushed the button. Noah giggled just as much as Hayden did. Both of them loved the lights floating along the wall. Most of all, they loved how the lights showed on them as well. But the final test was when they went to bed.
Noah goes to bed before Hayden so I turned it on when Noah went down. Bad idea. The person Noah is, he thinks its playtime when anything else is going on in the bedroom. Luckily, I didn’t need to enter the room to turn it off, it is programmed to auto-shutoff after 23 minutes. So he was out like a light shortly after. It had the opposite effect on Hayden. He was ready for it and was out before the 23 minutes were over. He told me the next morning that the lights made a pretty night light for him. But since they don’t stay on, it wouldn’t replace the one he has.

My son is always asking for one of these. He doesn’t like to sleep in his own bed, I’d love to get him one of these to see if it will help him!
The auto shut off is good. Were just getting my daughter to sleep in her room and she would love it.
I would love to have one! We are planning to adopt soon and I know it would be a welcome help to the adjustment period!

such a great idea for little ones especially when they are having a hard time going to sleep
we have a tranquil turtle in our younger sons’ room and it has been a big help when it is time to go to sleep. we would love to have one for our older soon too

The automatic shut off would be key in my household! But 23 minutes seems so random. Why not 20 minutes? Or 25 minutes?

Maybe, hopefully, this would get dd to go to sleep in her own room! She will not go to sleep unless she is either in our bed or one of us is rocking her to sleep…she is 4!

I really love these turtles, this definitely a new step up from the classic starry night turtles. I love the concept of the sounds and lights, the automatic turn off is a life saver. My son loved his old turtle so much, but we lost it in our last move. These little guys are perfect for traveling however, we used to tag our little turtle around on long trips. It’s a great comfort for all ages!
This would be great for my granddaughter. She cannot go to sleep with the light off so her parents are up all hours of the night which makes for a hectic household in the mornings.
