Time to turn “To-do” into DONE!

Ever feel like you don’t do enough? I mean, I know I’m a mom and I work full time but sometimes I feel like I don’t do enough, like I should be doing way more than I do now. Yes, I’m already exhusted by the time I get to the end of the day but I want to be the sewing mom, the baking mom, the “make whatever I can before buying it” mom and I never had the time. So my goal this coming spring is to work on adding something home made into my life. I’m pulling some pins that have been in my “to-do”  pin board for a while and we’ll see what I can come up with. I swear, I will share if I end up doing it.

This one actually happens to be my anniversary invite. I’ve made one already (to make sure I could actually do it) and it looks awesome so a friend of mine is coming over soon to help me finish so we can get the invites out by the end of the month.

I wanted to buy one of those huge expensive bed frames that look awesome but why spend so much money on something like that when you could make your own headboard!

"To-do" into DONE

We’ve been living in the house we live in for almost 2 years now and I have yet to personalize the walls to my liking. I’ve got some pictures of us and such but I need something new and I love these!

"To-do" into DONE

We have an old bookshelf from when Paul was younger that we don’t use anymore (because the back doesn’t stay on anymore). I’m thinking about re-doing it into something awesome for my blogging stuff, and this seems like a great place to start.

This one is one that I really hope I can get done this year before father’s day. How awesome would this be to hang on the wall next to my husband’s diploma? He would love it!

  3. Those are all fun projects – I’ve found the key is to start small and don’t move on to something else until it’s finished! I get distracted and it’s hard for me to do!

  4. I love the hand print idea and I have everything on hand to get it done. I also love quotes and have empty spots on my walls where I promised I would have some put up. It has been a year. Guess I should turn today into a can do day. Thank you for the motivation.
