Accessibility
We want andthelittleonestoo.com to be usable by everyone, including people who use assistive technology. This page explains what we do, what we know is imperfect, and how to tell us about a barrier.
This statement covers the website andthelittleonestoo.com, published by ACTIQO.
Our commitment
We want people with disabilities to be able to read, navigate and use this website. We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA as our technical target. Accessibility is ongoing work, not a finished state: we check new pages before they are published and fix problems when we find them or when you tell us about them.
What we do
- Pages use headings, lists, tables and landmarks so that screen readers can understand their structure. Data tables have column and row headers and a title.
- Everything works with a keyboard. A “Skip to content” link is the first thing on every page, and the keyboard focus is always visible.
- Text and important visual elements are designed to meet WCAG contrast requirements.
- Pages reflow on small screens and when zoomed, so text does not need sideways scrolling. Wide data tables scroll sideways inside their own area, which can be reached and scrolled with a keyboard.
- Animation is minimal and is switched off if your device asks for reduced motion.
- The site has no audio or video, no forms and no pop-ups.
How we check
On October 5, 2026, we reviewed every public page with automated accessibility checks (axe-core) and with hands-on checks of keyboard use, focus order and visibility, the mobile menu, zoom and reflow, text spacing, reduced motion and color contrast. We fixed the problems we found. Automated checks run again before every update, but they cannot catch everything, so we also test by hand. We have not yet tested with every combination of screen reader and browser.
Known limitations
- Sources we link to. Our pieces link to reports and documents published by others, including PDFs. We cannot control how accessible those are. If you cannot use one, tell us and we will help you find the information.
- Citation links. In source lists, links are labeled with the kind of document, such as “DOI” or “Report (PDF)”. The full citation in the same list item says which document each link opens.
Tell us about a barrier
If something on this website is hard or impossible for you to use, or you need information in a different format, email us at info@andthelittleonestoo.com. It helps if you tell us:
- the page (its web address or title);
- what you were trying to do and what went wrong;
- the device, browser and any assistive technology you use, if you are comfortable sharing it.
We read every message, and we will work with you to provide the information in a way that works for you.
